Secretary of the Arts position
Friends,
You may already have received this but I'm passing it along just in case.
Quincy Jones has started a petition to ask President-Elect Obama to appoint a Secretary of the Arts. While many other countries have had Ministers of Art or Culture for centuries, the United States has never created such a position. We in the arts need this and the country needs the arts--now more than ever.
Please take a moment to sign this important petition and then pass it on to your friends and colleagues.

If the link does not work just copy and paste it to your browser

P.S. Sorry for the delay in posting. I need to update the Ae blog more and will hopefully have some help with that soon. We'll be updating it with Ae and arts-related news. Lots of exciting structural stuffs happening at Ae. :) More info on that will be coming.
